Now that it is common place to see the MKIV making all of the horsepowers, unfortunately, owners will start seeing shortages in parts such as the V160 transmission and now there are shortages in rear twin-turbo model differentials. This means that those of you who decided it was a good idea to launch on street tires with a million horsepower now have some light at the end of the tunnel.
This is the Tomei Getrag 2-Way LSD. It features an improved design, and it is Tomei's largest example of an LSD. This LSD has been fabricated specifically for the Getrag JZA80 differentials, and it has been made to withstand big and big torque 2JZ's. Tomei made these ideal for the street, drift, as well as race conditions. Tomei also designed this LSD with high-performance friction discs which deliver consistent power and torque transfer. It uses a total of 18 high-grade friction discs which ensures precise control.
The 2-way differential will provide a strong lock on both acceleration and deceleration which is ideal for drifting which will help control the vehicle with the accelerator. Additionally, the 2-way features some of the highest initial torque spring discs in the industry which increase clutch capacity while maintaining high initial torque. The Discs employ a variable spring rate construction which minimizes warping while promoting longevity even under spirited driving or extended use.
This differential will come in a durable black coated finish for extra protection against corrosion, and the Tomei 2-way LSD will come with Tomei's Hypoid LSD Gear Oil.
