The COBB Tuning XLE Bypass Valve has been designed as a compact and lightweight replacement of your OEM components. When adding modifications that increase boost pressure, as well as horsepower, you can risk having the factory bypass valve leaking boost which can throw off your tune, cause your turbocharger to work harder, among other things.
The COBB XLE will hold higher boost pressures, but also incorporates very fast venting of boost under operation. This is achieved in the light weight components implemented within the design. Less inertia will allow for a faster response.
Additionally, COBB's exhaust port and piston face will allow the air to evacuate more quickly, allowing the turbocharger to respond sooner between shifts.
The XLE Bypass Valve is also completely rebuildable in case there should be an o-ring failure.
Included with the COBB XLE Bypass Valve are a supplied vacuum line, a vacuum port, a pair of port fittings, and an allen tool to make for a ready installation.
